8/31 - Day 1

 Hi Class of 2024, 

I hope everyone has a great first day as a City High student, tomorrow!!  Your teachers are excited to meet you. 

A few reminders as you start your day tomorrow: 

1. Relax. Virtual Learning is new to all of us and we will make mistakes during this first week!  Keep pushing and we will get through this week together!

2. Review: Your Google Classroom is the source of all the information you need to access and engage in your Virtual classes.  This is how you will access your live classes daily. 

3. Ask questions. You are new to City High and we expect you to have questions!  Ask them in your virtual classes or via email.   Your teachers and I are here to help you!

 Hello 2024, 

Welcome to City High!!  

Below is a video to provide you with some tips to help you begin your journey as a City High student. Please watch this video over the next few days so that you are prepared for classes on Monday.

I've also attached the PowerPoint slides so that you can refer back to them, if necessary.  Finally, here are instructions to find your schedule on the Portal (it will also be emailed to you).  

How to Find Your Schedule on the Portal

• Go to the home page (the page with your picture on it)
• Select School
• Select Schedule
• AM Group - all of your classes will be at the top of your schedule and the bottom will be blank
• PM Group - all of your classes will be at the bottom of your schedule (you will need to scroll down) and the top will be blank

Also, please read the note at the bottom of your schedule:  AM Students will ignore Period K and PM students will ignore Period G.
